Sponsored by the Gerald Choa Neuroscience Institute (GCNI) and co-organized by Prof. Jacque Pak Kan IP, Executive Committee member of GCNI, the first LKCMedicine – CUHK Workshop on Neuroscience was successfully held at Clinical Sciences Building, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) on 26 February 2024.
Apart from Prof. Jacque Pak Kan IP, Director of GCNI, Prof Bruce RANSOM and four other GCNI Executive Committee members including Prof. Vincent CHEUNG, Prof. Owen Ho KO, Prof. Edwin CHAN and Prof. Kim Hei-Man CHOW also attended the workshop.
The GCNI and NTU Singapore participants shared and exchanged their research findings and experiences in the areas of molecular, systems and translational neuroscience. The meeting resulted in positive outcomes, paving the way for exciting opportunities for collaboration in the near future.
Prof. Joseph Sung, Dean of LKCMedicine and Senior Vice President of NTU Singapore, gave welcoming address.
Prof. Bruce Ransom gave opening remarks on behalf of GCNI and CUHK researchers.
