GCNI 1st Neuroscience ‘Town Hall’ Meeting

As a kick-start event, the Gerald Choa Neuroscience Institute (GCNI) organized its 1st Neuroscience Town Hall Meeting at CUHK on 28th March 2023 (Tuesday).

The event gathered the CUHK neuroscience community for networking and collaboration opportunities. Apart from introducing GCNI’s background and research directions, the event also allowed participants to voice out their views towards CUHK’s neuroscience development and their research needs.

Prof. Helmut Kettenmann from Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT) was invited as a guest speaker on the topic of “GCNI and the Greater Bay Area - SIAT and Shenzhen’s neuroscience development”. Participants showed great interests in the collaborations between the two institutes.
