Collaboration with The University of Queensland, Australia
Five representatives from The University of Queensland (UQ) paid a visit to CUHK on 27 March 2023, aiming to strengthen ties with CUHK and discuss future research collaborations.
Followed by the signing of university-wide collaboration agreements, UQ representatives joined a meeting at Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building with CUHK neuroscience representatives, including Prof. Wai-yee CHAN, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Developments), Prof. Andrew CHAN, Director of School of Biomedical Sciences, and Prof. Bruce R. RANSOM, Director of Gerald Choa Neuroscience Institute.
With a common goal to pursue high standard research for the benefit of public health, representatives from both institutions introduced their current neuroscience research programs and discussed on the collaboration initiatives on the management of diseases and ageing conditions.
